James Halloween 2008

This year James was a storm trooper for Halloween. It wasn't our year to have him, but his Mom emailed me some pictures of him to share. He had just gotten his cast on that morning and luckily it fit under his costume!

James broke his arm two weeks ago at school. A third grader fell on his arm at recess. He complained about it then that it hurt, but we thought nothing of it. Then a few days ago it started getting swollen. The x-rays confirmed that he had broken it , but it had already started to heal. They put a cast on just for preventative measures and it will only be on for two weeks. This is now the second time in his seven year life that he has gotten a cast on Halloween. When he was two he broke his leg and got one put on Halloween morning. Hopefully this is the last Halloween he'll spend in a cast!!!

Happy Halloween

This year for Halloween Abby was a Mermaid and Jack was a Lobster. Grandma made Abby's costume and trick-or-treat sea shell candy bag. Her costume turned out so cute and we got a lot of compliments on it. Jack's costume was actually Abby's from her first halloween. The boat stroller cover Grandma made too.  Our idea this year was that Abby would be Ariel and Jack would be Sebastian (from The Little Mermaid).  Abby loved going up to the doors and saying "trick-or-treat". She thought it was pretty cool that you just say that and get candy!
