Sea World

Last Thursday I took Jack and Abby to Sea World for the day. It wasn't very crowded at all, which was awesome when juggling two kids by yourself around an amusement park. We have been to Sea World a few times this past year so I wasn't too worried about seeing all the shows, mainly we just went and saw all the animals that Abby wanted to see. She always loves the penguins, polar bears and of course Shamu! Jack seemed to really enjoy all the animals. He would just stand and stare at them through the glass. I wonder what he was thinking when he was looking at them? A big thanks to Mike (or Scott) and Macaria for letting us spend the night Wednesday. It definitely made our drive better!

Shamu doing a big jump!
Abby, excited for the Shamu show to start

Jack looking at the Sea Loins or Seals... What's the difference? I suppose I could have paid better attention and learned something. Maybe next time.
Abby outside the penguin exhibit. She was going to dive in and take one home, but that's already been done. (Some of you know the story behind that)
Abby and Jack looking at the Beluga Whales. I love this picture!!
Jack, smiling at the polar bears
Still happy to see the polar bears
I wonder what Abby and the polar bear are looking at?

The difference is their ears! Seals don't have a ear flap and sea lions do! Also their flippers are a bit different. We normally here in CA see sea lions! Christian had a field trip last year to the San Pedro Aquarium and I learned it there, I probably learned more than the kids that day! Love all your updates!
